I purchased the Shakti Mat as a gift for a friend who is quite active but has lots of back trouble. They swear by it now and recommend it to all their friends. Buying online was fast and easy. Very happy overall!

I'm no longer in pain
I started researching Shakti mats about two months ago after reading some amazing reviews about them and I'm so glad I did - my mat has helped my lower back problems so much that I am no longer in pain. After a hard day I love lying on it to relax and my sleep is so much deeper when I do. Would definitely recommend I bought one for my Mum last week and she is loving it already (she has hip pain and it is definitely relieving this). The prongs aren't as "stabby" as I thought they would be - the key is not to stiffen up before lying down just relaaaaax :o)

better sleep
Using the mat almost every day for my back neck and head. Also a few times during the week standing on it for 2-4 minutes but with socks only (yet). The mat has helped me to relax and I feel I get better quality sleep after I used it.

fully recommend it
Described as "Happiness in a bag" is perfect It's also my personal acupuncturist If you struggle getting it sleep you should try it. I bought one loved it so much I bought my elderly dad one. He was snoring in 10 minutes :) Fully recommend it

great way to wind down
We love our Shakti mat. I find it a great way to wind down after a busy day with my children. Being on my feet all day I often have very sore and tired grey and legs so I enjoy using the mat before bed to soothe and de-stress my achy legs by standing on it or popping it on the couch and sitting on it.

fantastic to lie on
Just purchased the Shakti mat and two weeks later definitely no regrets! Fantastic to lie on for around 20 minutes just before bed has become a daily meditation and sleep (and tense neck!) has greatly improved! Customer service fantastic kept up to date and delivered in promised time. Great experiences all round.

released my muscle tension
I love my Shakti mat for relieving back pain. One side of my back has been tight from carrying and feeding a new baby. Using the mat before bed has released muscle tension and led to me falling asleep faster and more deeply. I love it! My 5 year old daughter loves to lie on the mat after school - she says it's soooo relaxing!

the best investment
I must admit I was a bit skeptical when a friend told me about Shakti mats. As a working Mum of two boys under the age of 2 to say my days are busy is an understatement. But at night time I used to find I couldn't switch my mind off and struggled to fall asleep.The Shakti mat however has been my saviour and the best part of my day is laying on my mat for 20 minutes before I hop in to bed for a long and restful sleep (until I am woken up by one of my babies anyway!) feeling more energised than I have in years! Some nights I've even fallen asleep on my mat! Definitely the best investment if you struggle with sleep or relaxation and it's a great excuse to just lay there and do nothing! Perfect for busy Mummas!

brilliant home healing tool
The Shakti-Mat has genuinely changed my life. From relieving the aches and pains of on-going sciatica to the stresses and anxieties of life the Shakti-mat has become a go-to treatment for me. The best thing about it is that it's not something I feel like i HAVE to do. I just use it as I need it sometimes daily and other times once every other week. A brilliant at home healing tool that will save you money on trips to medical professionals.

soooo good!
I purchased the orange (medium) shakti mat and it is sooo good! I suffer from tension in my back neck and shoulders and many headaches. Lying on my mat each night for 20 minutes cures it. It relaxes me and takes my aches away. I also suffer from lower back pain and have had a disc slip a couple times. My lower back is requires extra attention and my mat is great for helping it out! I took my mat to Pilates for the others to trial...they are hooked! Who knew lying on a 'bed of nails' would almost be like a magic trick! THANK YOU!

money well spent
I bought this mat specifically because I'd read it could help headaches. After suffering for 18 mths with night-time 'screaming' headaches that would wake me....the pain absolutely incredible I can now say I have not had one of these in 6 wks. Lying on my shakti mat for just 1/2 hr when I go to bed was all it took and within a week the results were miraculous. It is so comfy to lie on that I often even fall asleep for a bit... :) This was money really well spent and I'm so grateful.

so glad I bought it
Since I've bought this mat I pretty much recommend it to anybody included my mother who lives on the other side of the world! If I don't use it I don't sleep well and my muscles are sore due to constant hardcore boxing training and my mat helps me recover. Also I have chronic issues with my knees ITB and leg muscles due to injuries. And the mat had replaced my weekly physio visits! I am so glad I bought it!

really has changed my life
I will admit that after I got the mat I struggled to find time to get on it however now I have incorporated it into my daily routine. The main benefit and the reason why I'm using it on a daily basis is that I was suffering from some quite severe lower back pain and 15 minutes of lying on the mat daily has completely stopped my lower back pain. I didn't want to be one of those people in those adds who are like ''this has totally changed my life'' but it really has made my everyday life easier. Long may it continue!

amazing
When my Mat first arrived I touched the spikes and thought no way will I be able to lay on this BUT I did and it is amazing. Yes it feels a little uncomfortable to start with but once you relax into it there is no problem. My first nights sleep after laying on Shakti for 20 mins was incredible. I didn't wake once all night!!! I sleep so soundly and deeply. Love it and would recommend it to anyone needing too relax de-stress or relieve muscle tension. Customer service was awesome and Shakti arrived so quickly.

helps wake me up when i stand on it
Love it! It really pinpoints where you need it and over time I have noticed I'm getting a better sleep and also helps wake me up in the morning when I spend time standing on it.

ouch at first !
At first I found it ouch but now I am so in love with it. After a long day I stand on it every evening and find it so relaxing. I now notice when I havnt used it - and I sleep AMAZING after using it!!!

Amazing!!! I have experienced bad lower back pain since having my daughter but since using my shakti mat most daysI have had no an aches whatsoever! My partner has benefited from having longer deeper sleeps after using the mat just before bedtime. Had a fantastic experience with the Customer Service team highly recommend.

so relaxed and comfortable
My shakti mat makes me feel so relaxed and comfortabke if I'm having sleep problems it puts me into such a relaxed sleep and I fall asleep straight after using! Also really great for my migraines!!!

I use my mat every night for around half an hour and I have really started to enjoy the warmth and sensation that I get from lying on the mat. I find it very relaxing but best of all I no longer seem to get aches and pains in my back. I am very happy with my Shakti Mat.

less stiffness - better sleep
I have a very physical job and am approaching 50. Since using my Shakti mat I have far less stiffness and better sleep. I lie on my mat on the floor for 20mins each night before bed and find I am well relaxed by the time I turn my light out. Thanks guys and I hope NZ gets excited about them.
