Terms of purchase
Last updated: 2026-09-16
These terms of purchase apply to all purchases via shaktimattan.se, operated by Brobox AB (org. no. 559438-3975), Köpmanbergsvägen 1b, 824 55 Hudiksvall, Sweden. You can reach us at hello@shaktimattan.com. VAT no. SE559438397501.
Order and contract
A binding purchase agreement is created when you complete payment. You will receive an order confirmation via email.
Prices
All prices are shown including VAT. The VAT rate depends on the delivery country. The currency is SEK for Sweden, NOK for Norway, DKK for Denmark and EUR for Finland. Delivery costs are added and shown at checkout.
Payment
We accept payment via Stripe with card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and the other payment methods shown at checkout for your country, such as Klarna. When payment is charged depends on your chosen payment method. All payment data is handled securely by Stripe — we never store card details. If you choose Klarna, Klarna's own terms apply to that payment method, and payment is made to Klarna. For invoice and instalment payments, Klarna performs a credit assessment, which may involve a credit check. Klarna is itself the data controller for that processing — see Klarna's terms and privacy policy for details.
Delivery
Delivery is made by Bring (Sweden) or UPS (Denmark, Norway and Finland). Delivery time is normally 2–7 working days depending on delivery country. You select a collection point at checkout.
- We deliver to Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland.
- Delivery method and cost are chosen and shown at checkout – based on your delivery country.
Cancellation
If you wish to cancel your order before it has been sent, contact us immediately at hello@shaktimattan.com. If the order has not been dispatched, we will cancel it free of charge. If it has already left us, we cannot stop the delivery — instead your right of withdrawal and our returns terms below will apply.
Right of withdrawal
Under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (distansavtalslagen) you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you, or someone you have appointed, received the goods. The simplest way to withdraw is our online withdrawal function (Withdraw from the contract here, at the bottom of every page) or an email to hello@shaktimattan.com. You may also use the EU model withdrawal form — email us and we'll send it, or download it from the Swedish Consumer Agency (konsumentverket.se). On top of the statutory right, we always give you a 30-day open purchase, as long as the item is in the same condition as when you received it.
Complaints
You have the right to make a claim for a defect for at least 2 years from the day you received the item, under the consumer law of the country you live in — 3 years in Sweden under konsumentköplagen, longer in some countries. A complaint made within two months of noticing the defect is always in time. Contact us with your order number and a description of the fault. In addition to your statutory rights, we give a 5-year guarantee against material and manufacturing defects — see the Warranty section of our FAQ for what it covers. The guarantee does not limit your rights under law.
Returns and refunds
To return an item, contact us first at hello@shaktimattan.com to receive a return shipping label. Send the item back in the same condition as when you received it. You are responsible for return shipping: the cost of the return shipping label, €8.50, is deducted from your refund. This applies to open purchases and when exercising your statutory right of withdrawal — in case of complaint or transport damage, we cover the return shipping. If you exercise your right of withdrawal and the item has been handled more than necessary to determine its properties and functionality, we may make a deduction for depreciation from your refund. We refund the full amount, including standard delivery, within 14 days of your notice — no earlier than when we have the item back or proof that you have sent it — to the same payment method.
Uncollected parcels
If a shipment is not collected within the collection point's holding period (normally up to 14 days, shorter with some carriers), the package will be returned to us. We will then charge a fixed fee of €25 to cover return and handling costs. An uncollected parcel does not count as use of your right of withdrawal or open purchase — if you wish to cancel your purchase, you must first collect the shipment and then return it according to the terms above.
Reservations
We accept no liability for typographical or printing errors, or for products that sell out. We are not obliged to deliver an order at an incorrect price or with an incorrect product specification caused by such an error — please contact our customer service if anything seems unclear and we'll be happy to help.
Reviews
After a purchase, you may receive an email inviting you to rate the product you've bought. It's entirely voluntary — you don't need to leave a review, and you can unsubscribe from these emails at any time. Reviews are collected and displayed in our own system; we publish them as submitted and only remove content that is illegal, offensive, or clearly irrelevant to the product.
Personal Data
When you shop with us, we process the personal data you provide (name, email, telephone, delivery and billing address) to fulfil your purchase — confirm your order, deliver it, and handle any returns or complaints. If you'd like to receive newsletters and offers, a separate consent is required, which you can easily withdraw at any time. We do not share your data with third parties beyond the providers needed to run the store and complete your purchase (payment, shipping, order handling and hosting). We also send data about purchases and refunds to Google and Meta in order to measure our marketing — what is sent, and what the cookie banner actually governs, is described in the section “Measurement and ad tracking” in our privacy policy.
Disputes
In the event of a dispute you can turn to the consumer dispute body where you live, or to the European Consumer Centre in your country (ECC-Net) for cross-border purchases within the EU. In Sweden that is the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN, arn.se), whose recommendations we follow.
